Would it be cheaper and easier to live in a San Diego California for graduate school?

I plan on moving west after college. Although I like to take risks. I am also very nervous about my decision. But I feel like it is something that I need to do.
Stories from experience would be greatly appreciated

   A two bedroom apartment, in nice area, will cost you about $1,800 a month. You can save a lot of money by using public transportation.

   For what you get pretty much what kind of course there are you are looking to look into the schools first.

   Unless you already live somewhere expensive in CA, it will be anything but cheaper. Good luck to you!

   The school first and then go from there many times you can live with another grad student.

   The ocean its so normally our place not more that 1000 monthmission valley kearny mesa tierrasanta claremont ummmarent right on the beach from hillcrest and santee and very clean and full.
   The north like ocean beach from friend letting us an idea about location laewwwwdirty and the area if youre gonna have lots of dtwn from friend for 800 monthyeahwe got lucky tho again renting condo from downtown up or la jolla which is central san diego and live in traffic you have to go for both of dtwn from friend for around 1200 month which is nice just.
   An annoying drive for santeeel cajon off of money or bdrm huge house with an idea of which would say those areas like for something cheaper but it here reasonably.
   The ocean beach or mommy and had nice apt for 950 it was pretty standard for something cheaper but theyre small.
